As a new student at Virginia Tech, we want to help you find ways to get active. Making time for movement in your schedule can boost energy levels, increase confidence, and provide the focus you need to succeed throughout your college experience.

If you've got a competitive spirit or just want to stay healthy and fit, check out the ways to stay active offered by Rec Sports.

If you’re looking to play sports, intramural sports hosts team and individual leagues and tournaments for Hokies to compete against other Hokies and have the chance to earn the coveted championship t-shirt.

Sport club teams represent Virginia Tech and play against other colleges and universities, but are not part of the university's NCAA athletics program. Sport clubs are supported by Recreational Sports, but each team is run by a set of officers.

Venture Out specializes in outdoor recreational adventures for all experience levels in:

Group Ex offers over 100 classes per week with a wide variety of class types that range from yoga to cardio dance and everything between! Membership options include in-person and virtual participation opportunities.
